Safe steps to try
- Free at least 15–20 GB of space on C:
- Reboot once (not 20 times) and leave the PC plugged in
- Disconnect nonessential USB devices
- Note the exact percent or error code before calling
What not to do
Avoid random “update repair” tools from ads. Avoid force-shutdowns every few minutes. If the PC no longer boots, stop and get help — repeated attempts can worsen a failing drive.
